Ouida Francine Dawe

A Memorial Service for Ouida Francine Dawe, 84, will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Open Range Fellowship Church in Greenwood, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Dennis Aaron. Speakers at Francine\'s memorial will be Chris Kay, Michelle Ballentine, Karen Delmonica and Ed Patino. Francine was born on November 26, 1936 to Johnnie Lee Wright and Lela Opal Julian in Converse, Louisiana and passed away on May 19, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Francine sought a career in aviation, beginning with American Flyers Charter Airline, Braniff Airlines and on to private aviation. This found her serving heads of state, Hollywood royalty, presidential candidates, rock legends and VIP's the world over. She loved music and dancing. As a child, she played the ukulele and wanted to surprise Chesi and Joe by playing her ukulele at their wedding, May 1, 2021 in Hawaii. God had other plans for her. Francine was a wonderful cook. Everyone loved her gumbo, seafood spaghetti, sand tarts, 1/2 moon shape, gold foil wrapped cookies and her wonderful decorated chocolate dipped strawberries. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Dawe; mother, Opal Julian; father, Johnnie Wright (Bull of the Woods); and daughter, Tina Dinkins. She will certainly be missed by so many.
