Owen Pleasant Pearson

HOMER, LA: A memorial service was held for Owen Pleasant "Pete" Pearson, 99, at the First United Methodist Church in Homer on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. R.B. Moore officiating. A private family interment precede the memorial service. The family received friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer on Friday, from 5:00-7:00 pm. Mr. Pearson was a resident and businessman of Homer, Louisiana for 60 years, and passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12. He was born on February 2, 1918 to his parents, Owen and Beulah Pearson, in Baconton, Georgia. Pete is survived by his three children, Tom Pearson and wife, Pam of Dallas TX, Mary Snyder and husband, John of Seattle, WA and Amanda Cottrell and husband , Tom of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Chris Pearson, of Houston, TX, Gillean Wade and her husband Stewart of College Station, TX and Clint Cottrell of Chicago; and three great grandchildren.
