Pam Ybos

Pamela Ann Daughtry Ybos, 72, passed away in her sleep Sunday, June 7th at Heritage Manor West in Shreveport, LA. If you were to sum up Pam's life in one word, SELFLESS would come to mind. She took care of everyone else first and lived that out daily. She was well known in the Stonewall area for her many years serving as an administrative assistant for Pastor Stan Magee at Salem Baptist Church. Pam loved being a part of the choir and the many plays and musicals performed by the church. She also served as the cheerleader coach at North Desoto High School in the 90\'s and mentored many young people in the Stonewall community. She loved to travel and was always up for an adventure. She ran 5ks while in her 60's. She joined Warren Jackson as the administrative assistant for Clear Camps traveling all summer for many years. Rarely is the last half of someone's life more thrilling than the first but that is true of Pam. She is preceded in death by her father, MB Daughtry, mother, Elizabeth Daughtry, and daughter Stacy Lynn Ybos Sanders. She is survived by daughter, Stephanie Ybos Anderson and husband Scott, grandsons, Elijah Anderson, Abraham Saxon, Nahowan Saxon, and Shadrach Roome, and one granddaughter, Macee Anderson. She is also survived by her sister, Cynthia Daughtry Friday and husband Richard and their family. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Southside on June 19th from 5-7 pm and a Memorial Service will be held at Camp Bethany Chapel, Bethany, LA on June 20th at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, Pam wanted donations to be given to the Care Pregnancy Center, Shreveport, LA or the American Cancer Society.
