Pamela Waites

Funeral services will be held for Pamela Moak Waites, age 49, at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Interment will follow at Hurricane Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pamela was born December 7, 1966 to Ross Delane Moak, Sr. and Sarah Ann McFarland Moak. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Pam had been a truck driver and a volunteer at the Restoration Ministries in Shreveport. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Ray & Juliette McFarland and Edda Braswell, brother-in-law David Roberts, nephews Brett Gist and Tyler Moak and by several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her sons Justin Lester and fiancé Holly Williams and Colton Powell and girlfriend Rachel Blackmon, by parents Ross Delane Moak, Sr. and Sarah Ann Moak, sister Liesa Roberts, brothers Ross Moak, Jr. and wife Dana and Gregory Moak, grandson Riley Lester and one on the way, by nephews Josh, Jake, JD and Dekota, nieces Kristen, Karlie and Madyson, and by many other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Scott Moak, Jake Moak, Josh Moak, Jay Carter, JD Roberts, Dekota Roberts, Jerry Bailey and Greg Moak.
