Memorial services for Pamela Ann Lee Wilson, 65, will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, LA 71118 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Gill officiating. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. just prior to the service. Pam passed away on June 9, 2018. She was born October 20, 1952 in Mena, Arkansas. Her family relocated to Shreveport when she was a young child. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Lou and David Henry Lee; her mother and father-in-law, Elizabeth and O. P. Wilson; and her sister-in-law, Sandi DeMoss. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Don Wilson, and their nephew, Jason Prudhomme. In addition to extended family, Pam is survived by childhood, college, and a multitude of other friends. Pam graduated from Woodlawn High School where she served as editor of the school yearbook. She graduated from Northwestern State University with a BS in nursing. At NSU she was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority and a member of the Student Union Activities Board. She began her nursing career in pediatrics at Willis-Knighton Hospital. She shared her nursing skills at several local hospitals and retired from LSU/University Hospital after a lengthy career as the RN Manager of the Regional Burn Center. Pam will always be remembered for her quick wit, generous spirit, and love of travel, all things local and Jimmy Buffet. As her special friend, Lauren, said "The world became a little less pink Saturday night." Memorial donations in memory of Pam may be made to: Pick It Forward for Orphans, P. O.
