Patricia Ann Black

Memorial service honoring the life of Mrs. Patricia Black will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Pelican Baptist Church in Pelican, Louisiana with Reverend Ron Thompson officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation at the church on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.   Patricia was born on April 10, 1953 in South Bend, Indiana to William Melton Woods and Shirley Ann Straube-Woods. She entered into rest on July 10, 2019 in Magnolia, Arkansas. Patricia was preceded in death by her birth parents, William and Shirley Woods and adopted parents, Norman and Ruth Waddle; sister, Shirley Gaspard and husband Austin; and brother-in-law, Halvor Peterson.   Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 19 years, Reverend Donald Mack Black of Pelican, Louisiana; sisters, Debbie Westberg and husband, Bruce of Camp Verde, Arizona; Robin Rich and husband, Kevin of Ashville, North Carolina; Vickie Wyatt and husband, Donnie of Branson, Missouri; Jewell Peterson of Many, Louisiana; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
