Patricia Ann Herring

Patricia Ann Herring, 76, of Shreveport, Louisiana went to be with her Lord on September 15, 2016 at 6:00 AM in Heritage Manor Stratmore. She was a native of Mansfield, Louisiana. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Mildred Christine Shelton Herring of Dothan, Alabama and father, Roy Shelby Herring of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. Survivors include her former husband of nearly 45 years, John Wesley Cooper, Jr. of Mansfield, LA,; their three children, daughter, Christi Cooper Taber of Aurora, CO; son, John Brett Cooper of Mansfield, LA; and daughter, Julie Cooper Hall of Monroe, LA; Three sisters Brenda Herring Hall of Stonewall, LA; Loretta Herring McSween of New Mexico, Connie Herring Ruffin of Lafayette, LA and one brother Shelby Dean Herring of Hoschton, GA. She had seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. At our mothers request there will be no visitation prior to a graveside service at Mansfield Cemetery with Brother Jim Reynolds, officiating. The service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 17, 2016 under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
