Patricia Treadway Martin was born on July 9, 1949 in Vivian, LA. Her love of life did not come to an end with her death. The simplest pleasures brought her joy and her loving heart left a beacon of light for all the Rodessa Community when she passed away peacefully in her home on April 2, 2022. Patricia was a faithful member of the McCoy Nazarene Church in Rodessa, LA where she loved singing in the choir. She had a passion for fishing, was a breast cancer survivor but her greatest joy was being with her loving family. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ethel Lee Treadway; son, Patrick Martin; brother, Troy Treadway and wife, Juanita and Kenneth Treadway; sisters, Barbara Long and husband, Roy and Maudie Marie Hale and husband, J. C; nephews, David Long and Chris Treadway; nieces, Cathy Franklin and Darlene Parkman; brother-in-law, Kenneth Willoughby; Ronnie Martin Left to cherish her memory are Allen Treadway and wife, Laverne, Charlene Willoughby, DeWayne Willoughby, Sissi Treadway, Michael Lee Murchison and wife, Laura, Marissa Murchison, Mason Treadway and Nathen Treadway. She is also survived by Emma, Anna and Southern Murchison and Hudson Tanksley; sister-in-law, Rosie Treadway. Honoring Patricia as pallbearers will be Michael Lee Murchison, Austin Murchison, Michael Allen Murchison, Noah Willoughby and Therman Willoughby. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2022 at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Vivian, LA with James Festervand officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA.
