Patsy Marie Aldrich

Funeral services for Patsy Marie Aldrich, 81, will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will be held at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Rd., Bossier City, Louisiana on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. A visitation will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Damon Magee , Rev. Kent Greer, and Rev. Ron Henke.

Patsy was born on July 7, 1943, in Mansfield, Louisiana to Curtis and Doris Reed and passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in Shreveport. Patsy was a resident of Shreveport where she attended Fair Park High School. She was married to Joe Elga Aldrich. She worked at the Caddo Parish Courthouse as a secretary. She was a devoted mother and a Oneness Pentecostal Christian. She was a Godly woman that taught all of her children to be strong and independent adults. Patsy was a big sports fan. She loved the Mansfield Wolverines, LSU Tigers, and the New Orleans Saints. She encouraged all of her boys to participate in sports and learn good sportsmanship that they could carry with them the rest of their lives.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Doris Reed; husband, Joe Elga Aldrich; and daughter, Terri Lynn Aldrich. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Herman, Joey and wife, Therese, Leslie, Steve, Cynthia and husband, Sonny, and Daniel and wife, Richelle; siblings, Nancy, Debra, and Voundale; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Patsy will be terribly missed but it gives the family great comfort to know she is in Heaven with her Lord and Savior.
