Patsy began working while still a teenager at the Welfare Office in Mansfield, Louisiana and throughout her life, worked at various local establishments, mainly in office positions, including First National Bank, Meredith Tire and Auto, and Ideal Printing. Nothing surpassed her love for her Lord and Savior. She loved her church and was active in First Baptist Church, Mansfield most of her life. She adored her daughters and grandchildren with all her heart; there was nothing she would not do for her family. Honoring Patsy as pallbearers will be her six grandsons.
