Patsy Marks

Graveside services for Patsy Ruth Blackwell Marks will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hurricane Cemetery, in Hurricane, Louisiana, with Bro. Bob Jameson officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia.

Patsy was born February 25, 1939, in Homer, Louisiana and went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 3, 2025. She graduated from Athens High School in 1956 and later that year married the love of her life, Gaylon Marks. They were married for 61 years.

Patsy enjoyed being a homemaker and had the tough task of raising three boys, Kevin, Keith, and Ken. She loved watching the boys play ball, cooking, and hanging out with her best friend Betty Francis. Patsy has a host of grandchildren that she loved so much and always loved hearing about.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gaylon Marks and son Keith Marks. She is survived by sons; Kevin Marks and Ken Marks, grandchildren; Kyle Marks and wife Sarah of Haughton, Hannah Marks of Bossier City, Matt Stovall and wife Leslie of Haughton, Kris Marks and wife Jessica of Searcy, AR, and Keli Marks of Haughton, and by great grandchildren; Kaden, Madeline, Beckett, Tripp, Peyton, Brayden, Knox, Kruz, Kamryn, Kynslie, Jettson, and Weston.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Marks, Kris Marks, Matt Stovall, Dean Francis, Danny Francis, and Greg Smith.
