Paul Butler

It is with great sadness that the family of Paul R. Butler announces his passing after a vigorous fight with cancer on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the age of 50 years. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 27 years, Pam, and his son, Jacob. Paul will also be fondly remembered by his brothers, Butch (Joda), and Darrell (Freida) and his sisters, Vicky (Bruce) and Terri (Charles). Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Dolly and Donald, his brother, Larry and brother-in-law, Bruce. Paul was a native of Forbing/Shreveport and attended BPCC, graduating in 1995 with a Culinary Arts certificate. He had a passion for cooking but worked much of his life doing blue collar jobs. Forever memories for Jacob will be their first fort, ICEE day on Fridays after school and the never ending knock-knock jokes. Enduring memories for Pam will be his endless love, his deep love for family and friends and the absolute best father to their son. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 5:00 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. The family would like to give thanks to Dr. Scott Boniol and the staff at Christus Cancer Treatment Center and Christus Hospice and Palliative Care Shreveport-Bossier.
