The Life and Legacy of Paul Knuckey

  A Celebration of Life honoring Paul Edward Knuckey, Jr. will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14,2021, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Paul Edward Knuckey, Jr. was born June 27,1982 in Baltimore, Maryland to Paul and Terri Knuckey and passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, in Bossier City, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his mother, Terri Brewer Knuckey; grandparents, Henry and Anita Brewer, and grandmother, Madeline Katherine Clark. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 8 years, Kendra Barkley Knuckey; son, Spencer Edward Knuckey; father, Paul Edward Knuckey, Sr. and wife, Betty; brother, Michael Knuckey; half-brother, Jacob Knuckey; uncles, Mike Brewer and Paul Brewer and numerous cousins, extended family, and friends. Paul was a graduate of Lansdown High School in 2001 and was currently attending Bossier Parish Community College where he received a Technical Certificate in Web Design, while working to graduate in December 2021 with a degree in Computer Programming. Paul enlisted in the United States Air Force after high school where he was a part of the Air Metals Tech Department until 2011 concluding his service as a Staff Sgt. He met many friends and colleagues, among them were Sam Olsen, Edgardo Marin and Jared DeWittie. He was a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and received the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Although most of his career was spent at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma he loved his journey overseas to Osan AFB located in South Korea, Aludeid AFB located in Qatar, Kadena AFB located in Okinawa, Japan and ending his military career at Barksdale AFB located in Bossier City, Louisiana. Upon leaving the Air Force, Paul was employed by Libby Glass, Pumpworks and Branton Tools Machine shop as a machinist. Branching out from the machine world he was employed by CSRA working for Department of Homeland Security and leaving to further his education. Paul showed an interest in magic at a young age and upon entering Kenzo's Magic shop in Baltimore, Maryland, Paul first met his best friend, performer and fellow magician, Spencer Horsman. As his interest grew, he loved to perform for friends and colleagues while maintaining the mystery of the craft. Through the years as his interest grew, he attended many workshops and met fellow magician Lee Asher who would go on to be a very close friend and mentor of Paul for many years to come. Paul had a profound interest in music, particularly in the art guitar performance spending many years cultivating a love for playing and mastering songs. From his youth into adulthood he spent much of his time mastering technology, especially computer systems and gaming systems. He loved to play games and loved to create electronics for his own pleasure. Paul was a wonderful husband to Kendra and father of his son, Spencer, always willing to lend a hand or an ear to anyone who needed it. Always ready with a quip or comment to lighten the mood. Paul had a wealth of knowledge in many areas and was always willing to impart it upon anyone who wanted to hear.
