Paul C. Hebert, Jr.
SHREVEPORT, LA- Services celebrating the life of Paul C. Hebert, Jr., 75, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, with Rev. Stephen Smith and Father James McLelland officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until services on Saturday at the funeral home.
Paul was born June 12, 1941 in Shreveport, La to Paul C. Hebert, Sr. and Lucille Magee Hebert. He passed away on August 28, 2016.
Paul attended St. Johns Grade School and graduated from Fairpark High School in 1959 and took accounting courses at Centenary College. He served in the U.S. Navy for many years and was honorably discharged. His professional life was spent in data processing at Poulan Weed eater and General Motors. He was active in Junior Achievement, Data Processing Management Association serving as President of Shreveport Chapter of DPMA in 1982. Paul has been a member of American Legion, Elks Club, and Moose Lodge over the years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, two aunts, one uncle, a nephew and niece, three cousins, and many friends. Paul is survived by his wife of nearly 56 years, Beckie Smith Hebert; daughter, Jan Hebert Hinton, grandson, Brandon Hinton, who was like a son to him, granddaughter, Ashley Hinton; great grandchildren, Dakotah and C.J. Hinton.
Honoring Paul has Honorary Pallbearers will be Will Ferris, Glen Rhodes, Tommy Gay, Pat Bridwell, Roger Braniff, and Durwood Lee, being close friends that were like brothers to Paul.
