Paul K. "Peck" Taylor

Funeral services celebrating the life of Paul K. “Peck” Taylor, 78, of Converse, Louisiana will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Mitchell Baptist Church, Mitchell, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Bobby Russell.  Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Converse, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Paul was born on August 16, 1945, in Mitchell, Louisiana to Paul and Mary Taylor and entered into rest on December 31, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Taylor; his parents; son, Jeffery Wayne Taylor; sister, Myrtle Lord; brothers, J.P. Taylor, John Edward Taylor, and twin brothers, Jim and John Taylor; and special sister-in-law, Louise Taylor.

Left to cherish his memory include his son, Richard Taylor and wife Linda; sister, Frances English and husband, Harold; special nieces, Rene Anderson and husband Thomas, and Deborah Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Honoring Paul as pallbearers will be Tick Johnson, Sid Johnson, Mark Reed, Darryl Dyess, Jerry English, and Clint Houston.  Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Stewart, Jimmy Brown, Wayne Childress, Jeff Jagneaux, Mike Taylor and Billy Lord.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Superior Hospice, Toledo Retirement Center, and Mitchell Baptist Church.
