Paul Youngblood

Funeral services will be held for Paul Youngblood, age 86, at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Bro. Max Rasbury and Bro. Mel Campbell will officiate. The interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday night from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Paul was born December 7, 1928, in Arcadia to Glen and Lenna Cook Youngblood. He entered peacefully into rest on Monday, April 13, 2015, in his home in Bienville. Paul was a member of Bienville Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Elgie Youngblood and wife LaDonna, sister Carmen Curtis and husband John Lee and by brother-in-laws Murray Sherrill and Sam Baker. He is survived by his wife Melva Sanford Youngblood, sisters Marguerite Sherrill and Glennie Baker, sister-in-law Anne Baxter and by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be John Curtis, Robert Youngblood, Wesley Boddie, John Carrol Priest, Jimmy Smith, Robert Kirkham, Donald Green and Harvey (Buzz) Kemper. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Curtis, A.B. Swayze and Kirk Elam.
