Paula Roberta Schorr Cornelious

A graveside service for Paula Roberta Schorr Cornelious, 78, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Agudath Achim Cemetery, at the corner of Yale and Walnut, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rabbi Jana De Benedetti.

Paula was born on July 1, 1944 in New Jersey to Louis and Leah Schorr and passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Paula was a devoted mother. Anyone who knew her knew that she had a passion and a personality for working with Pre-School children, which she did for more than thirty years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of over 60 years, Bill Cornelious; brother, Ronald Schorr and grandfather, Max Schorr. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim Wynn and husband, Robert “Bob”; brother, Mark Cornelious and wife, Deshana “Dee Dee”; grandchildren, Sarah Wynn, Carter Wynn and Ethan Cornelious; brother, Allen Schorr and wife, Sherry; nieces, Brittney West and husband, Lance and Chelsea Mibb and husband, Joseph; great-nieces, Scarlett West, Belle West and Nora Mibb; great-nephew, Ford West; and brother-in-law, Frank Maranto.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Congregation of Agudath Achim, 9401 Village Green Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71115.
