Pearl Eaton

Pearl Faye Whittington Eaton (P. F. to her friends) passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at the age of 98, following a long and meaningful life. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings as well as her spouse of 62 years.  She was born March 16, 1925, the youngest of 5 children of Arthur and Annie B. Whittington of Shreveport.  She graduated from Fair Park High School and began working for Peacock’s Jewelers. 

She met and married Charles W. Eaton, at the time an Army Air Corps 1^st Lieutenant and pilot.  Their union produced 3 children who now survive her, Charles W. Eaton II, Retired LtCol USAFR, Christopher A. Eaton, and Cheryl Lee.  She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. 

Always the quintessential Southern Belle, she loved to host parties and holidays and was active in both politics and the community.  Her presence will be missed by one and all. 

Services will be held graveside in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
