Shreveport, LA- A funeral service for Pearl L. Robbins, 83, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Mansfield Road Baptist Church. Officiating will be Brother Cecil Marr and Brother Donnie Bradley. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held at 11:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday, July 8, 2015.
Pearl was born on September 15, 1931 in Pelican, La to Andy William and Luvenia Fulton Daw Hicks. She passed away on July 4, 2015 in Shreveport, La.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ralph David Robbins, Sr., sons, Ralph David Robbins, Jr., and Douglas Glen Robbins. She is survived by daughter, Georgia Lynell Brown, siblings, James Hicks and Mary Dupont, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Honoring Mrs. Pearl as pallbearers will be Daniel Brown, Kenny Wayne Robbins, Westley Brown, Chris Sanders, Kennith Barnhill, Huey Wyatt, and Buddy Herring.
