Peggy Bissell

Ms. Peggy Temple Bissell passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 3, 2021, following a lengthy illness. Peggy was born on February 26, 1944 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Minnie and Curtis Temple. Left to cherish her memory are Peggy's daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Mike Todd; son and daughter-in-law, Timmy and Claire Bissell; two sisters, Billie Ruth Powell and Vicki and husband Ozzie Osborn; one brother, Benoyd and wife Ruby Temple; three grandchildren, Trent Todd, Corey Bissell and Sarah Bissell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law Terrell and Ruby Temple; brother-in-law, Tony Powell; and infant nephew Tony Temple. A Graveside Service will be celebrated by Reverend Rothell Price at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Magnolia Cemetery in the Hunter Community. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Administration and Staff of St. Joseph Hospice and The Carpenter House of Shreveport for their kindness and compassion during Ms. Bissell's illness. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Joseph Hospice of Shreveport.
