Peggy Ann Granger

KEITHVILLE, LA - Services for Peggy A. Granger, 66, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Wayne Fussell. Interment will follow at Plain Dealing Cemetery, Plain Dealing, LA. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the funeral home.

Peggy was born in Shreveport, LA on March 10, 1950, and passed away on March 12, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Peggy wants us to love and remember her, but not to grieve for her, because she has gone to be with her Lord and Savior, and loved ones that have passed on before her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Rufus Giles and Earline Wallace Giles Denmon; and step-father, George Denmon. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 32 years, Lester Lee Granger; three brothers, James Michael Giles and wife Linda, James "Jim" Rufus Giles, Jr., Glen Edward Denmon; also her special "baby girl" Amanda Boutin who was like a daughter to her along with her husband, Nathan and son, Logan; also many nieces and nephews; and her loving pet "Starr".

Honoring Peggy as pallbearers will be Logan Baker, Jeff, Bezucha, Nathan Boutin, Glen Edward Denmon, Steve Gastin, and Edward Lee Sexton, Jr.

The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at Willis-Knighton North 2 West, Grace Home, as well as Dr. Timothy Nicholls, and Dr. Tommy Brown.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Cancer Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
