SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Peggy Ann McCain, 61, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive. Rev. John Rabo will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the funeral home. Peggy was born on March 22, 1953 to Roy and Betty Lee and passed away on August 11, 2014. She was a life-long resident of Shreveport and a homemaker. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed shopping and loved being with her family, especially her grandsons. She is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, of 40 years Thomas C. McCain; daughter, Amber Lee McCain Cason and husband, Richard; step-mother, Linda Lewis Lee; grandsons, Connor, Chase and Chandler Cason; sisters, Linda Diane Lee Giddens and husband, Lee Roy, Sandra Jean Lee Ketchum and husband, Ray; step-sister, Michelle Elies Atkinson. Honoring Peggy as pallbearers will be Matt Hemingway, Butch Hemingway, Anthony Crawford, Jeff Wesson, Trenton Crawford and Eric Odom. Memorials may be made to the donors' choice.
