Funeral services for Peggy Ruth Pope will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Dee Anders officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Peggy was born March 4, 1933, in Haynesville, Louisiana and entered into rest July 30, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Pope; parents, James W. "Willie" and Florence J. Mills; daughter, Sandra S. Baldree; son, William (Danny) Baldree; and grandson, William Dale Baldree and great-grandson Alexander Dewayne Martin. She is survived by her children, Dale C. Baldree, Beverly R. Wilson (Bo), Eva D. Robinson (Mike), Sheila G. Martin (Jack), Randall T. Baldree (Lisa), and Susan J. Brewer (Kenny); eighteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and numerous great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jack Martin, Keith Keen, Kenny Brewer, Tom Terrell, Chad Brewer and Tony Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Adcock and Abram Anders.
