Peggy Lee Pruett
Shreveport, LA - Peggy Lee Pruett, age 60, passed away on February 3, 2015 following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Peggy was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Her livelihood was being an accountant, but more importantly she was a wonderful daughter and sister. Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at Rose-Neath\'s Southside Chapel. Interment will be at Forest Park West Cemetery. Peggy is preceded in death by her brother, John William Pruett. She is survived by her mother, Pauline Pruett; sister, Rena Beck and husband Gary, Sr.; brother, Kearney Pruett, Jr. and wife Diane; and sister, Sandra Hayes and husband Dale. She is also survived by a niece, several nephews and one great nephew. Pallbearers will be Randy Staggs, Tommy Burns, Roland Hancock, Gary Beck, Sr., Gary Beck, Jr., and Travis Pruett. Honorary pallbearers will Atley Fielder and Ronnie Fielder, The family would like to express their appreciation to all the health care professionals/staff who took care of Peggy at Christus Schumpert Highland Hospital and Cancer Treatment Center and Cornerstone Rehabilitation Hospital.
