Peyton Joseph Bass

Coushatta, LA Celebration of life and going home service for Peyton Joseph Bass, 25, will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Coushatta at 10:00 AM with Rev. Benny Alford officiating and assisted by Dr. Nathan Davis. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Hall Summit, LA. Visitation will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Peyton was born October 30, 1990, in Shreveport, LA to Karen Bolton and Daryl Reed Bass and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 4, 2016, in Sibley, LA. During his lifetime, he worked for Acuren Inspection of Minden, LA as an x-ray technician. He enjoyed sports, the outdoors, and loved his family. Preceding him in death were maternal grandfather, Jerry Wayne Bolton and uncle, Jerry Cecil Gordon. Left to cherish his memory are mother, Karen Bolton and father, Daryl Reed Bass; brothers, Dawson Bass and Logan Bates; maternal grandparents, Janice Breider and Guy Breider; paternal grandfather, Jimmy R. "Joe" Bass and paternal grandmother, Shirley Posey Fry; aunts, Jenni Bass, Joni Bass, and Debbie Giddings; and uncles, Jeff Bolton, all of the Coushatta area and Denny Bass of Baton Rouge, LA. Serving as pallbearers will be Jordan Northcutt, Jeremiah Woods, Jeff Bolton, Jeff Craig, Tyler Cannon and Dustin Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Allen, Justin Bufkin, and Dalton Gay.
