Phyliss Phillips

Phyliss L Phillips was born on September 24, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on October 20, 2022 in her mother’s arms.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved son she called her “biggest blessing”, Robert Jason Phillips and wife Lorene; her granddaughter who she considered to be the “love of her life," Channing Phillips, and Kylie and Trevor Gomez; mother and stepfather, Gayle and Bill  Tingle; father and stepmother, Frank and Bennie Phillips; half-brother, Frank Phillips, Jr.; stepsisters, Kristen Allen, Lauren Richardson, Mollie Hause and their spouses and children; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Phyliss had a strong love for her Lord and Savior and she will forever be remembered for her kind, loving, and giving heart. She cherished her family and friends and was always willing to help those in need. Phyliss was fiercely independent and self-employed for many years.

Her wishes were for no service but for family and friends to gather in visitation for a celebration of her life. This will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana between 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2022. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating in Phyliss’s name to the American Cancer Society or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.

The family would like to thank Dr. Koticha along with his oncologist staff and Willis-Knighton Hospice for their care and support.
