Priscilla Parmer

Grand Cane, LA - Funeral services for Priscilla "Pat" Parmer, 85, will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend David Perimenter. Interment will follow on the grounds of Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the funeral home. Priscilla was born May 19, 1929 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Hervey and Beulah Brummett and passed away February 25, 2015. She was a lifetime resident of Grand Cane, Louisiana. She was a retired AT&T employee. Pat will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Parmer; mother, Beulah Y. Brummett; father, Hervey L. Brummett; and brother, Hervey "Boogie" L. Brummett, Jr. Left to cherish the sweet memory she leaves behind are her special nephews, John M. Brummett and wife Amy G. of Moreauville, LA and Steve Burford; special niece, Brandi Hornsby and husband Justin; great nieces, Abigail L. Hornsby and Presley F. Hornsby; sister, Nancy Burford of Shreveport, LA; brothers, Gary W. Brummett of Grand Cane, LA and John H. Brummett of Grand Cane, LA. Honoring Priscilla as pallbearers will be Justin Hornsby, John M. Brummett, Jay Burford, Lott Woodward, Jerry Woodward, and Josh Burford. The family would like to thank the Bradford Guest Care Facility and Willis Knighton South for all the wonderful care that she received during her stay.
