Quinton Potter

A visitation for Quinton Potter, 83, will be held Monday, July 31, 2023 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A burial will follow at Old Blanchard Memorial, 104 N Jodie St., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Eugene W. Bryson, III.

Quinton was born September 2, 1939 to James Potter and Vesta Tackett in Ashcamp, Kentucky and passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Quinton was a 32^nd degree Mason and was a member of Blanchard Lodge #447 F&AM where he was a Past Master. He was a member of the El Karubah Shrine where he was a Past Colonel of the Units and was a Past Captain of the Alibaba Unit. Quinton was also a member of the Grand and Glorious Order of Hillbillies; Clan 1 and a longtime member of Northpoint United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by parents, wife, Florence Potter; brother, Art Potter and Oscar Potter and his sister, Connie Sartin. His memory is survived by his son, Terry Potter and wife, Donna; brother, Juston Potter and wife, Suzy and Everett Potter and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Brittnay Hartman and husband, Jack, Nikki Potter, Clint Palmer and wife, Melissa, Joey Jones, Ty Potter, Alexus Rietcheck and Dan Jones; great-granddaughters, Haley and Harley Granlund, Madisyn Jackson and Mckinlee Hartman; numerous other great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
