Rachel Windham

Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Rachel Windham, 84, will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, December 5, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with Reverend Everett Kingston and Reverend Thomas Tuck officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in James Community, TX. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath in Mansfield on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 4:00 until 9:00 PM and again on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Rachel was born Hickory, MS to Halcrome and Rena Myers Lovett and passed away in Shreveport, LA.

Preceding Rachel in death were her husband Morris Windham; daughter Linda Pitcox; sisters Frances Benoit and Dorothy Lovett; brother Vagie Lovett; and parents.

Those left behind to cherish Rachel's memory are her son Bobby Windham; brother Bobby Lovett and wife Betty Jo; grandchildren Claudiene Tuck and husband Thomas, Bobby Windham, Jr and wife Amber, Katherine Pitcox, Julie Meshell, Lee Herndon and wife Carol, Bill Swan and wife Milissa, and Dorothy Smith and husband Jerry; 12 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to nurses of Promise Hospital in Shreveport.
