RALPH K JOSLIN

Martin, LA - Funeral services for Ralph K. Joslin, 87, will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 19, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Coushatta, with Reverend Richard Kauffman and Reverend Elmer Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in Springville Cemetery in Coushatta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Ralph was born January 11, 1928 in Haynesville to Verdie and Eula Whatley Joslin and passed away at his residence in Martin on January 15, 2015. Ralph proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He was also a 65 year member of IBEW Electrical Union 194.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Verdie and Eula Whatley Joslin; grandson Ryan Joslin; and great granddaughter Harley Griffin.

Those left behind to cherish the memory of Ralph are his wife of 63 years Marlene Carey Joslin; son Michael Joslin and domestic partner Diana; daughter Michelle Joslin Vire and husband Dennis; grandchildren Corey Joslin and Fiancé Misty, Michelle Griffin and husband Billy, Clara Beth Vire, Johnny Vire, and Jimmy Vire; two brothers Marvin Joslin and wife Mellie and Bobby Joslin and wife Shirley; and special cousin Kaye Florane.
