Randall Ray Baronette, son of L.J. and Hazel Berry Baronette, was born on June 7, 1958, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He passed away on January 2, 2018, at the age of 59, from a yearlong battle with Cancer and HLH at Highland Hospital in Shreveport.
Randall attended Fair Park High School and graduated class of 1976.
On August 25, 1989, he married the love of his life, Kristi Brian. Their marriage lasted 28 years before he was called home.
Randall was baptized and raised at Emmanual Baptist Church. He left many dear friends behind who grew up with him in his early days.
Randall was a long time Boiler Operator at Dr. Reddy's. He was always a hard, steadfast worker
Randall was the kind of man who never met a stranger. He made friends everywhere he went and would do anything for you. He drew people to him with his humor and wit, and he always had you laughing. As one friend said, "He was always giving you a hard time and was the most consistent man in all situations. He didn't change who he was in regard to who he was around." Randall had the most special bond with his twin sister, Ronda; we know a piece of her is now missing without her brother. He was the very best father and grandfather you could ever ask for. He always took the time to build a tree house or put together a trampoline. Randall loved his wife, Kristi, more than life itself, telling her to the very end how much he loved her and always reaching to give her kisses. He loved his friends, his family, and most importantly, Jesus. As Kristi put it, "He is the color in our world," and it will be immensely hard to continue on without him.
Randall was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Berry Baronette and his brother, Ronnie Baronette.
He is survived by his wife, Kristi; daughter, Ashley McCutcheon and her husband Ty; sons, Stephen Baronette and his wife, Megan; Brian Baronette and his fiancé, Jackie Vasquez; his twin sister, Ronda and her husband, Geoff Garrett; his brother, Doug Baronette and his wife Karen; his 5 grandchildren, Tripp, Magnolia, and Georgia McCutcheon, and Gabe and Lana Hill; and many dear nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Randall will be held at Rose-Neath Southside on Friday, January 5 , from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at his beloved home church, Calvary Baptist Church, on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Park West. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Randall Baronette to Calvary Baptist Church, Disaster Relief Assistance, at 9333 Linwood Ave., Shreveport, LA, 71106.
Honoring him as pallbearers will be Dwayne Connella, Ricky Gross, Jimmy Windham, DeWayne Kelly, Larry Leone, Jr., Randy Coke, Steve McCutcheon and Rodney Herren.
