SHREVEPORT, LA- Graveside services for Randell Allen Herrington, 87, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2017 at Forest Park West Cemetery with Rev. Andy Daniels officiating. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service. Randell was born February 4, 1930 in Richland Parish to James and Maggie Herrington. He passed away on August 23, 2017, in Shreveport. He loved his church, Calvary Pentecostal Church. Randell proudly served his country and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He later had a career as a purchasing agent for TSE and Clarks Allied. Randell was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Linda Faulk and Jackie Lynn Herrington; mother-in-law, Ollie Mae Causey; and brother, Elmer Herrington. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Margarette Herrington; sons, Warren Tony Herrington and wife Carol and Allen Randell Herrington; son-in-law, Gary Faulk and wife Cindy; daughter, Media Roney and husband Charles; grandchildren, Kendal Hay and fiancée Pete, Kellye Hay, Katie Hay, Shelby Liem and husband Cameron, Amy Herrington, Cade Herrington, Chris Faulk and wife, Jemma, Cody Rogers, and Kerry and husband Richard; great-grandchildren, Cadence Hay, Bella Faulk, Carson Liem, and Lane Liem; brother, Bennie Herrington and wife Mildred; and numerous nieces and their spouses. Pallbearers will be Warren Tony Herrington, Charles Roney, Cade Herrington, Pete Redel, David Richardson, and Darian Waldon. Cadence Hay will be honorary pallbearer. The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone at WK Hospice for their care. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
