SHREVEPORT, LA - Randy Hardin, 69, passed away in his sleep at his home in Shreveport, Louisiana, on Friday, July 8, 2016. He was born August 27, 1946, to Glenn C. and Mary Louise (Hart) Hardin in Longview, Texas. He had a 40-year career in retail management and was Youth Minister for Westhill Church of Christ in Cleburne, Texas, in the 1980s. He was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church in Shreveport.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon McAllister Hardin; his son, David Allan Hardin of San Antonio; his daughters, Miranda Hardin Ryan and fiancé Jeff Kennedy, and Mandy Hardin Skinner of Longview; four grandsons, Wesley Glenn Hardin, Paul Michael Ryan, III, Cody Allen Skinner, and Landen Trent Ryan, step-grandsons Lane, Ty and Landry Kennedy, all of Longview; his sister, Glennda Hardin and husband Gene Stubblefield of Liberty, Texas; his brother, Davy Ray Hardin of Arlington, Texas; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 16, at 2:00 P.M., at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside, in Shreveport.
