It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Szelinski, a hardworking and devoted father, who passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, after a brave five-year battle with cancer. He was 60 years old.

Born on May 19, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, Randy spent his life dedicated to providing for his family and instilling in his son the values of hard work, perseverance, and integrity. As a father, he was a steady and unwavering presence, always ensuring his family’s well-being and setting an example of what it meant to be selfless and diligent.

Throughout his life, Randy worked tirelessly as a Ford technical mechanic, showing a commitment to excellence that inspired those around him. Despite the challenges of his illness, he never lost his work ethic, and his determination to support his loved ones remained steadfast until his final days. His legacy of resilience, love, and unwavering dedication will continue to guide his family. He will also be remembered fondly by his extended family, friends, and colleagues, all of whom were touched by his humor, work ethic, and generous spirit.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna; son, James; daughter-in-law, Adriana; granddaughter, Azalea; father-in-law, Jim and many other family members and friends.

A memorial to celebrate Randy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.

Though his physical presence is no longer with us, the lessons he taught us through his dedication, hard work, and love will continue to live on. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will remain in our hearts forever.
