Ransome Alexander Canipe, Jr.

Funeral services honoring the life of Ransome Alexander Canipe, Jr. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Amador Santos. Interment will follow at Prude Cemetery in Mansfield, Louisiana. A visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Ransome was born on December 13, 1968 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Ransome Alexander Canipe, Sr. and Mary Marie Booker Canipe. He entered into eternal rest on August 13, 2020 in Mansfield, Louisiana. Preceding Ransome in death are his parents, Ransome and Mary Canipe; paternal and maternal grandparents; sister, Judy Diane Wilson; niece, Stephanie Wilson. He is survived by his long-time companion, Bobbie Wise Graves; son, James Andrew Canipe; daughters, Amore' Sierra West and Hannah Elizabeth West; sisters, Tena Chadwick and husband Steve, Lisa Snead and husband Daniel, and Mary Madajczyk and husband Douglas; a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Honoring Ransome as pallbearers will be Michael Canipe, Damian Canipe, Roland Booker, George Booker, Luke Tingle, and Solon "Man" Nussman. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Steve Chadwick, Daniel Snead, and Douglas Madajczyk.
