Ray Julian Ebarb

  Zwolle, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Ray Julian Ebarb, 80, will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Ebarb, LA with Father Timothy Hurd officiating. The family will receive friends at St. Ann's on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 4:30 PM until 6 PM. Ray's varied career path took him to many locales across the country. As a printer, he worked for many of the country's leading newspapers. He then switched to electrical work and became and engineer for a major hotel in Las Vegas until his retirement to Ebarb, LA. Never one to sit still, he then opened a side business doing electrical work. He loved his work but mostly he loved being busy and on the go. 'Slowing down' was never part of his plan. His quick wit and legendary one-liners will not soon be forgotten. He will surely be missed by his loving family. Ray was born in Ebarb, Louisiana to John B. Ebarb and Lenora Procell and passed away on January 5, 2017. Proceeding him in death were his Parents John B. Ebarb and Lenora Procell Eabrb and his sister Bertha A. Ebarb.
