Ray Allen George

A Graveside service celebrating the life of Ray Allen George, 94, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell, Louisiana with Bro. Mike McConnaughey officiating.

Ray was born on April 26, 1930, in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana to Moses Pink George and Rebecca Fletcher George and passed away on February 4, 2025, in Mansfield, Louisiana.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katherine Clara George; granddaughter, Jennifer Lee Blevins; and 12 siblings.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Charles George of Nebraska; John George, Kathy Turner (Darren), and Beverly Hardin of Clarksville, Ark. and Sandra Isbell (Darrel) of Mansfield, LA; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
