SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Ray Hue Page, 88, will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, with Rev. Scott Ethridge officiating. Interment will follow at Page Cemetery, Castor, LA. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Ray was born February 7, 1929 in Castor, LA to Frank and Lillie Page and went to be with his Savior March 7, 2017. Ray proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1995 from Whitaker Construction where he was Construction Superintendent. Ray loved fishing but his favorite was going rainbow trout fishing. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that asked or was in need. Ray was a loving and devoted husband and a good friend to many. Ray was preceded in death by his father, Frank Page, mother Lillie Guin Page, numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Margaret Bailey Page and his brother, Roger Page and his wife, Wanda; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Honoring Ray as a pallbearers will be Donald Bailey, Jimmy Hall, Ed Simpson, David Lewis, Jaran Hall, Louis Kelly, Andrew Foxall, and Jerry Wynn.
