RAYMOND IRVIN
STONEWALL, LA - RAYMOND IRVIN, 68, WAS BORN ON King Hill in Lake End, LA on October 10, 1947. He was a man's man through and through, loving to hunt fish and be outdoors. He was a friend to all and never met a stranger. He showed his love through food and you never left with an empty stomach. He served his country during the Vietnam War. Upon returning he drove trucks for over 30 years offering him views of the US many never get to see. He also served his community working for the Town of Stonewall for numerous years. Though in all his time there was never anything he held dearer than his family and friends.
Proceeding him in death are his mom, Vera Irvin, mother, Virginia Irvin Sepulvado, sister, Rachel Hinds, brother, Joe Irvin, and Richard Hinds. Left to cherish his memory are wife of 34 years, Teresa Irvin, daughters, Teresa Barber(Johnny), Jennifer Evans (James), Vera Carter (AJ), Diawana Irvin (Timothy Yates); grandchildren, Justin and Kelsey Barber, Dylan and Lance Evans, Rayna, Skylar and Isabelle Carter, Timothy and Aaliyah Yates; great granddaughter Brooklynn Barber; siblings, Joyce Speir (Dan), Aline Martin, Florence Moore, Martha Wall ( Kenneth), Joe Sepulvado (Christy), Billy Sepulvado (Martha), Beverly Farmer, Margie Eades, Gail Steadman (David), Janet Cassidy (Mike), Paul Sepulvado, Susie Sepulvado, John Sepulvado (Jerry), Jerry Sepulvado (Lisa), Dean Sepulvado (Penny), Richard Hinds, Pat Hinds (Gwen) and numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors, friends, and former coworkers.
Honoring him as pallbearers will be his sons in law and grandsons.
