Raymond Johnny Greer

A graveside service celebrating the life of Raymond Greer, 80, of Logansport, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Bethel Cemetery, Logansport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Rusty Hall.

Raymond was born July 6, 1944 to Roy C. Greer and Gladys McFarlin Greer in Houston, Texas and entered into rest on Saturday, August 31, 2024. 

Raymond loved the Lord and his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing music. Raymond was a welder and pipe fitter for most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Gladys Greer; first wife, Gay Evelyn Greer; sister, Helen Wickliffe; brothers, Billy Joe Greer, Donnie Greer, Charles “Black” Greer, Roy Greer, Jr., Dillard Greer, and Floyd Greer.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Renee Greer; sons, Darien Lee Greer and wife, Gina, and Johnny Ray Greer; stepsons, James Williams and Joey Williams; sister, Barbara Moore and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Kolten Trace Greer and wife, Camille, Cody Lane Greer, Johnny Ray Greer, Jr., Michael Kelly Moore, Kelli Michelle Ritter and husband Taylor, and Macie Demi Tristan and husband Josh; 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honoring Raymond as pallbearers will be Kolten Greer, Michael Moore, Cody Greer, David Cox, Bubba Meeks, and Jeff Ramsey.
