BENTON, LA - Raymond Hope McDonald went to be with our Heavenly Father on May 16, 2016, with his family by his side in Bossier City, LA. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Cypress Baptist Church, Benton, LA. Officiating will be Rev. John Fream, assisted by Rev. Tommy Patton. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service Saturday, beginning at 12 p.m.
Raymond was born in Shreveport, LA on August 12, 1932. He was the retired owner of Killer for Hire Pest Control. Raymond was a member of Cypress Baptist Church, RAP Hunting Club and Northwest LA Pest Control Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 30 years, Irma Leos McDonald of Benton; sons, Ronald McDonald of Bossier City, Andrew McDonald and Darla of Benton, Philip McDonald and JoAnne of Benton; stepchildren, April Babcock and Jason of Benton, Robert Hansen, Jr. and Mary of Russellville, KY and John Hansen, Sr. and Sissy of Bossier City; sisters, Karen Drown of Santa Barbara, CA, Noelle Donfeld and Jeffrey of Malibu, CA; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be family members.
