Funeral services for Raynette Louise Sepulvado, 69, will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4736 Lyba St., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd., Keithville, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Officiating the service will be Father Raney Johnson.
Raynette was born on August 9, 1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana to John and Mary Garcia and passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
After graduating in 1971 from Fair Park High School, she went into banking and ultimately retired from John Guth Associates. She was a devoted wife of 36 years and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a devout Christian who spent her retirement years volunteering at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed collecting recipes and baking.
Raynette is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; brother, Michael Garcia; granddaughter, Aubrey Bailes; and nephew, Kenneth Garcia. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Manuel Sepulvado; daughters, Heather Carroll and husband, Todd, Tiffany Gaar and David Searcy, Adina Estes, Sherry Hohimer and husband, Kirk; brother, John Garcia; sisters, Rose Garcia and Theresa Hawkins; grandchildren, Shea Sherrick, Justiss Sherrick, Breann Hohimer, Carlos Hohimer and Cameron Estes.
Honoring Raynette as pallbearers will be Buck Garcie, Steven Gore, David “Dobie” Sepulvado, Gary “Slick” Louis Sepulvado, Michael “Mickey” Gore, and Justiss Sherrick. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Carlos Hohimer, and Cameron Estes.
The family would like to thank the ICU nurses and cardiac team at Oschner Health System for all the wonderful care, compassion and love given to Raynette.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the charity of their choice.
