Rebecca Inez Clark was born on July 21, 1952, to John Richard Clark and Inez Melinda Woodall Clark in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Rebecca graduated from Fair Park High School and was a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 30 years. She was a very compassionate, caring, and loving woman who always took great care of everyone around her.
Rebecca was passionate about all animals and rescued and cared for many over the years. She took in stray cats, dogs, and anything and anyone that needed a loving home. She especially loved horses and their majestic nature. She had a green thumb and could grow anything. She had flower gardens and vegetable gardens she put her heart, soul, and nurturing spirit into. She had a huge collection of porcelain dolls she obtained throughout the years. She loved dressing up and being pretty. She was obsessed with jewelry, the flashier the better. She liked being out and about around other people. In her younger years, she played in a pool league and went out dancing as often as she could.
Rebecca may have dressed up like a lady, but she knew how to play with the boys as well. She was a daredevil and very adventurous. She loved being on and in the water and going fishing. She loved to be outdoors and spent most of her time there unless she was inside the house watching The Young and The Restless. Her family was always the most important thing in her life. Her boys and her grandbabies were her whole world. She was the mom who got out and played with her boys and involved them in the day-to-day duties such as cooking. She was the kind of Nana who would sit and play Barbies and action figures with the grandkids. She was involved with them and invested in their lives. She loved her family deeply and they loved her as well. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Rebecca Clark was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Earl C. Clark, Bobby R. Clark, James L. Clark, and John R. Clark. She is survived by her sister, Edith J. Parker; sons, William A. Woolley, Jason A. Woolley, and Matthew T. Woolley; grandchildren, Andrea, Samantha, Emilye Allyson, Aaron Jakob, Gavin, Joshua, Abbigayle, Iszabelle, Wiyatt, and William; great-grandchildren, Iceis, Sophie, Amelia, Silas, and Jude.
Honoring Rebecca as pallbearers will be Jason Woolley, Matt Woolley, Aaron Jakob, Woolley, Gavin Woolley, Richard Clark, Micheal Woolley, Anthony Martin, and Zachary Bynog. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be William M. Woolley.
The family would like to express special thanks to the CCU team at Willis Knighton North for all they did for Rebecca during her time of need.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to Ninna’s Road to Rescue PO Box 1357 Benton, Louisiana 71006.
