Services for Rebecca Maranto Morris will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. Rebecca was born February 18, 1975 in Bossier City, LA and passed away June 10, 2017. She was a member of the Mensa Society. She also loved to read and write stories. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Irene Maranto; maternal grandparents, Jean and William Mooren; grandmother-in-law, Mary Madden; uncles, Mike Mooren and Dr. Frank Maranto; and cousin, William Mooren. She is survived by her husband, James Christopher Morris; mother, Vicki Maranto; father, Robert Maranto; sons, Logan Alexander Morris and Gavin Alexander Morris; sisters, Elizabeth Maranto Sandifer and husband, Thomas and Courtney Maranto Beauclair and husband, Peter; and brother, Daniel Maranto; In-laws, Jim and Sue Morris; sister-in-law, Kristina Medveder; beloved nephews, Noah, Thatcher, and Oakley; and special aunt, Constance Maranto. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Maranto, Charlie Maranto, Steven Shockley, Daniel Maranto, Peter Beauclair and Danny Walker. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Morris. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
