Rebecca Roberson Moore

Mrs. Rebecca Roberson Moore, of Elm Grove, LA, formerly of El Dorado, AR, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the age of 77. Rebecca graduated from Jonesboro High School (AR) in 1958 and went on to attend Ouachita Baptist College, where she earned a degree in Music. She spent most of her life in El Dorado, where she was a school teacher and business owner. In 2007, she moved to Elm Grove and married George P. Moore, Sr. There, she was a member of Memorial Baptist Chapel where she continued sharing her gifts as a Sunday School Teacher and church pianist. She and George both shared a passion for Tennessee Walking Horses and enjoyed traveling around to horse shows. Rebecca is survived by her husband; her two daughters, their husbands, and seven grandchildren; his three children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Memorial Baptist Chapel, 301 McDade, in Elm Grove, LA, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, you may send donations in Rebecca\'s name to Memorial Baptist Chapel or to Regional Hospice Care Group of NW Louisiana, 8660 Fern Ave, Suite 145, Shreveport, LA 71105.
