SHREVEPORT, LA - Celebration of Life services for Regina Gail Dorking, 49, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 10, 2014, in the sanctuary of Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Reverend Robert Parker and Sister Teresa Kile officiating. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake, Bossier City, LA. The family would like to welcome guests for visitation on Thursday, October 9, 2014, from the hours of 6-8 PM at Rose-Neath Southside. Regina was born December 19, 1964 in Shreveport, LA and was called to her Heavenly home on October 4, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She visited Shreveport Community Church here in Shreveport. Regina was a Surgical Technologist that would prove her-self to be one of the best in her field. She was a member of Who's Who. Regina was a wonderful mother, very caring young lady and intelligent beyond her years. She trained and mentored so many Scrub Tech's, at a number of the local hospitals, and worked for LOPA. Regina would always put others needs before her own and will never be forgotten for her compassion to others. Regina was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; her mother, Betty Lou-Ann Brent Parker and a brother, Ronald Henry Parker. Left to cherish the beautiful memories Regina leaves behind will be her father, James T. Parker, Sr.; two daughters, Rikki Angelica Dorking and Clayton Howard Lohnes and Christina Michelle Heckerman and husband, Benjamin; three siblings, James Parker, Jr. and wife Debbie, Samantha Berry and Robert Parker, Fiancé`, Kevin Gardner; two grandchildren, NeVaeh Heckerman and Benjamin Heckerman; along with numerous extended family members and many wonderful friends. Honoring Regina as pallbearers will be Clayton Lohnes, Neal Johnson, Colton Gardner, Dillon Garsee, Ronald Fielder and Randy Hashieder. Rose-Neath Southside 2500 Southside Drive318-687-1256
