Regina Lynn Woods

Funeral services for Regina Lynn Woods, 49, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018 at King's Temple United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Damon Magee and Rev. Kent Greer officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Keithville, LA. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at King's Temple. Regina was born March 2, 1969 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with her Lord on April 18, 2018 in Shreveport. She attended National College of Technology and graduated from Southern Technical College with an associate's degree in electronics. She drove a school bus for DeSoto Parish. She loved taking care of the children she drove. She was a member of King's Temple United Pentecostal Church. She was a God-fearing woman who loved her family. She was constant in her faith, never gave up, self-less, and always went above and beyond to make sure her family was taken care of. She will be greatly missed. Regina was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lillie and Ernest Langley; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Kathleen Walker; brothers, Michael Walker and Jason Walker; and uncle, Kenneth Murphy. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jeffrey Woods; daughter, Hannah Woods of Frierson; sons, Michael Walker and Aaron Woods of Frierson; special daughter, Ashley Myers of Logansport, LA; mother and stepfather, Geneva and Danny Kile of Stonewall, LA; father and stepmother, Alfred Walker and Beth of Alexandria, LA; grandchildren, Bryan and James; sister, Susan Ezernack; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Honoring Regina as pallbearers will be Gerald Murphy, Kenneth Robertson, Cannon Acklin, Steven Robertson, Sandy Givens, Michael McCann, Tony McCann, and Saul Garza. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Aiden Garza, Joshua Lewis, and Dennis Givens. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at LSU MICU for their compassion and outstanding care.
