Much of her free time after retirement was spent in her flower beds and feeding the wild birds and squirrels that flocked to her back yard. Even the neighborhood cats could not escape her kindness by extra food left out at night. It was Mrs. Watson and her family's wishes to express their utmost appreciation for the compassionate care from Dr. Assad Dean and the entire staff at Texas Oncology, in addition Harris Methodist Hospital of Fort Worth and Community Hospice of Fort Worth. All these people tireless efforts are exemplary. She was amazed at everyone's kindness, devotion and dedication. Mrs. Watson is survived by her loving husband James, daughter; Judy Watson, sons; Dennis Watson and Joe Watson, grandchildren; Monica Crouse, Jimmy Calk and Stephen Watson, great-grandchildren; Miranda Calk, Nicholas Calk, Aaron Pinkston, Spencer Calk and Krue Randall Watson all of Fort Worth.
