LOGANSPORT, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of Rev. Albert L. Turner, 57, will be at 7:00 pm Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Logansport Elementary School Gymnasium in Logansport, LA with Reverend Frankie Mathis officiating. Burial will be at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Hattiesburg, MS on Friday, December 22, 2017. The family will receive friends at Logansport Elementary School Gymnasium on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 4pm till time of service. Albert was born on February 6, 1960 to James and JoAnn Standland Turner in Marianna, FL and entered into rest on December 18, 2017 in Mansfield, LA. He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Mac and Annette Standland, Lester and Ouida McKnight, and Hansel Turner. He was a loving husband, son, father and brother. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Peggy Turner of Logansport, LA; his mother, JoAnn Turner of Marianna, FL; two sons, James Turner and Stephen Turner both of Simsboro, LA; his brothers, Mike Turner and wife Delores, and Buddy Turner, and his sister, Lou Ann Turner all of Marianna, FL. The family suggest memorials be made to Cornerstone Kids Ministry at Cornerstone Cowboy Church or Gideon's.
