Logansport, LA - Services for Rheshia Cooper Inglet Cox, 104, will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Logansport with Elder Wayne Painter. Burial will follow in Brookland Cemetery, Joaquin, TX. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Born October 21, 1910 in Barrow County, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior, May 21, 2015 at Garden Park Nursing Home in Shreveport at the age of 104. She is survived by grandsons Danny J. Hall and wife Betty Jean and Dennis "Buddy" Hall and wife Judy of Logansport; one great granddaughter, Barbara Parker and husband Heith of Stonewall; two great grandsons, Jeff Carter and wife Kim of Joaquin and Michael Hall of Shreveport; three great-great granddaughters and three great-great grandsons; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Prentice Inglet and James Cox; parents James Tally Cooper and Elizabeth Hays Cooper; brothers John Talmer Cooper, Junius Cooper and William Henry Cooper; sisters Minnie Fuller, Barnie Rill Cooper, Irene Smith, Quillian Smith and Lavert Smith; step daughter Betty Inglet Hall and husband Dawson J. Hall and granddaughter Gladys Hall Carter.

She retired from the DeSoto Parish School System after teaching over 30 years. She loved her students, and talked about them often. She loved teaching, her church and reading her Bible until she could no longer see to read. She took piano lessons late in life, and did well enough to play for her church, Mims Springs Baptist Church in Logansport.

Honoring the life of Rheshia as pallbearers Jeff Carter, Heith Parker, Robert Foshee, Mac Mills, Nubin Boyd, and David Graves. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Rhode and Barry Mills

A special thanks to the nurses and CNAs at Garden Park Nursing Home, especially hall 8 nurses, Ms. Judy and Ms. Carla and CNA Jaimie Bryant.
